About the event
Join us for a Summer Holiday Clay Creation workshop, where you will make your very own Turtle 🐢. These super cute Turtle require just the smallest dose of imagination to make them amazing creatures. Once you have made your Turtle from earthenware clay we will take a refreshments break whilst they are drying a little towards leather hard status. After this we will paint them with our specialist wonderglazes.
The Turtle will be slow dried in our control environment and then biscuit fired, once cooled they will be dipped glazed and then fired for a second time to 1000°c to add that glossy finish that can only be achieved by Kiln Firing.
The cost of this workshop is £15, including your Earthenware Clay, full tuition, painting, double firing and glazing. Refreshments are availableto ourchase in the day. Drop off available for 12+.
